Goals of the International Congress of Endoscopy
- Bring together the Medical and Surgical Societies of Endoscopy in mutual cooperation to plan an International Congress to address the present needs and future of this Specialty.
- Construct an educational program that will not only be of the highest quality, but will be innovative in establishing new formats for the future.
- Involve the technological and pharmaceutical digestive disease industry as important participants in this Congresses' activities. This is meant to give industry a significant presence for its investment to help provide the necessary funding for highly technical and demonstrative programs of the exciting emerging Endoscopic concepts that cross Medical and Surgical boundaries.
- Provide an atmosphere of celebration and brotherhood for all of the participants based on the concept of the 50th Celebration of the formation of World Endoscopy.
- Provide an opportunity for the Young Physicians of the World to meet, interact and establish bonds of cooperation with one another.
